AVOID this company! Stylists are decent, but held back by the worst management I’ve ever seen. The owner is glad to blame his customers. I would not sign up for a year membership as I am not even sure if they will be around in a year. They’ve closed two locations (Nampa and Downtown Boise) in 2022. I would imagine with my experience they will NOT refund any portion of your payment if they close the location you use. VERY UNETHICAL practices here. Read my story and ask yourself if you really want to do business with this company.
Here’s my story… I have been going for 9 months. I signed up at the beginning for a 1 year Ultimate Membership. Recently, I had a tremendous number of issues with their app and was thinking about stopping the membership all together. I wanted to end the auto re-bill at the end of the year. I went onto their site where it clearly marks the date I will be re-billed and saw an option to terminate. I selected that option and did not have any kind of warning box. It processed the request. The next time I went in I was told they could not find my membership at all. I told them what happened, and we realized the membership had been cancelled. I asked for them to re-instate it through the end of the one year term. I was told they would have the manager, Kristina, call me. She processed through a new membership plan and charged me $49.95. Then she called me and I asked about reinstating the membership. She said she would look into that. She never called back. I tried calling for weeks and could not reach Kristina. Finally, I got through to the stylist I work with and was told I need to speak with the owner, Brent. I was told Brent would call me. A week went by without a call. I emailed and threatened to charge back this unauthorized $49.95 charge. Brent emailed me and said he wanted to talk with me about it. Brent said it was MY FAULT I terminated the membership. He said there was nothing he could do, and this $49.95 charge represents the new membership they created. Why is this the first time I am hearing about this? Why was I charged without any explanation? I told Brent the app said NOTHING about cancelling the account. Brent admitted they have problems with their app. I told them that should give reason to help me by honoring my membership through it’s original end date. Brent asked, “What do you want me to do about this?” Refund the $49.95 and honor the full year of haircuts I paid for. He said he cannot do that because the system would not allow him. He continued to blame me. I asked him to cancel everything since he was not inclined to actually help. I asked he cancel an upcoming haircut I had scheduled. He said he could not cancel the haircut and said I needed to do that. After the conversation, I received notice BRENT indeed cancelled the haircut. I have since cancelled the credit card this company keeps on file and disputed the $49.95 charge. I do not trust this company.
